Würzmeister - "Glühwein" Mulled Wine Mix
Ideal for the winter months with pastries, desserts and drinks. 100% natural product, gluten-free, lactose-free and 100% vegan.
Ingredients: allspice, cinnamon, lemon zest, laurel, cloves, orange zest, ginger, galangal.
Quality is the first priority at Würzmeister. In order not to overheat the spices, only small grinders are employed. Each mixture is carefully and thoroughly mixed by hand in advance. Whenever possible purchase of raw-materials in their natural form are purchased and ground at Würzmeister. Thru the gentle grinding process a high amount of ethereal oils are preserved in the spices, which leads to a more intense aroma. Würzmeister produces relatively small quantities of spices to ensure that the customers can enjoy freshly make mixtures. The spices of Würzmeister are guaranteed free of any artificial ingredients, such as flavor enhances, preservatives or similar and are all gluten-free.
Directions:
Add wine, brandy and mulled wine mix into a large saucepan. Cook the mulled wine on medium-high heat until it just barely reaches a simmer. Strain and serve.
The best red wines to use for mulled wine are Merlot, Zinfandel or Garnacha (also called Grenache). These wines are dark, fruity and full bodied, which means they can support all of the flavors you will be adding. Look for labels that describe the wine as with 'notes of vanilla'.
