The Canton of Thurgau is famous for its fruit farming, which forms an essential part to the honey production in region. Aromatic, dark and fluid honey from the forests in the region of canton of Thurgau. The bees collect smallest honey dewdrop from leaves and fir needles and produce a first- and world-class honey gold. Filled with minerals, this dark honey is a delight for forest honey lovers. The natural diversity of its ingredients make this honey a valuable and full-featured nutrition.

This family owned and traditional apiculture in the Canton of Thurgau exists since around 40 years in the region of Frauenfeld. The conscious and sparing harvest of the flower honey guarantees a full and pure honey pleasure. The family beekeeping is carried on with the knowledge of four generations. The Frehner family makes sure that the bees are doing well and that they have vital queens whose offspring result in strong and healthy colonies. This is the only way they can harvest honey of the highest quality.

Taste: very strong, own honey aroma, with a slight hint of resin taste, tangy and pungent.
Consistency and color: fluid, dark-brown color, with slight green glimmer.

The honey is not standardized or mixed. So every honey jar contains its unadulterated and individual aroma.

Storage: Keep at room temperature. Do not refrigerate. Product will start to crystalize after 4-6 weeks in a natural process. Place jar in a warm water bath of max 40°C for a few minutes to bring back to original consistency.
