Gin 27 is a combination of tradition and authenticity, a blend of character and herbal expertise that has been passed down through generations. Enticing aromas of warm spices blend with notes of orange and juniper. It is soft on the palate with a hint of pepper. Produced from only the finest ingredients using an original recipe. Distilled and bottled with the utmost care and passion in Appenzell Switzerland.

This gin owes its unusual name to the place where it was created: Weissbadstrasse 27, in the heart of Appenzell. The unique bottle design reflect the art of paper-cutting tradition in the Canton of Appenzell.

Appenzeller Alpenbitter is a family owned company with tradition since 1902. Emil Ebneter, founder of today’s Appenzeller Alpenbitter AG, not only gave the company valuable recipes, he also passed on a set of values that continue to be maintained, and which form the basis of the company’s success. The family-owned company has remained true to its tradition and continues to be an independent Swiss company.
